Trinity Metro Bus Connections Changing at Some TRE Stations

Beginning Sunday, Sept. 5, Trinity Metro introduces A Better Connection, a bus system redesign that provides MORE for its riders. More options. More frequency. More direct routes. More service hours.

Trinity Railway Express riders will notice the following changes.

Richland Hills Station: In addition to Trinity Metro bus route 23 (operating Monday-Friday) connecting to Tarrant County College Northeast campus, a new bus route 55 connects the station with residential communities on Fort Worth’s east side.

Fort Worth Central Station: With a number of Trinity Metro bus routes being modified, discontinued or added, riders should note that only the following services connect at this major transfer center.

  • Bus routes 1, 2, 5, 6, 11, 12, 15, 46, 61X (M-F), 63X (M-F), 65X (M-F), 66X (M-F), 89
  • The Dash
  • TEXRail
  • Amtrak
  • Greyhound

Fort Worth T&P Station: In addition to Trinity Metro bus route 6, which boards on Vickery Blvd., riders may connect with TEXRail and the Southside ZIPZONE here. Route 4 no longer connects at this station.
