TRE offers premier commuter rail service between Fort Worth and Dallas. Hop aboard Trinity Railway Express to connect to two great cities and all points in between. Each destination has unique attractions and events – all easily accessible. TRE is jointly owned and operated by Trinity Metro and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).
Should inclement weather affect the operation of TRE, alerts will be issued to those that have signed up to receive notifications. You may register to receive alerts here.
Trains operate Monday through Saturday. No scheduled service on Sunday except for special events such as the State Fair of Texas.
Holiday Schedule: No TRE service on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Riding TRE to see the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars play at the AAC is a win-win game-changer for all involved! Plus, unless otherwise stated, a westbound train will depart Victory Station 20 minutes after the end of each game for a smooth ride home.
This year, TRE will once again partner with Coors Light® to help you get home safely on New Year’s Eve. You’re encouraged to celebrate and “chill responsibly” by riding TRE instead of driving.
Free rides in Dallas County from 6 p.m. through the end of service.
Trinity Railway Express now makes stops at a brand new station in Fort Worth – Trinity Lakes Station.
Trinity Lakes Station is located east of Loop 820 at 7979 Trinity Boulevard, between the former TRE Richland Hills and Bell stations. The new station is part of a 1,600-acre master planned community that includes transit-oriented development – with retail and residential – called Trinity Lakes.
Riding TRE to get to and from work can reduce stress, lower your carbon footprint and give you more time to do what you want to do. And it can be a money-saver, too! Both DART and Trinity Metro offer corporate partner programs that allow for discounted employee transit passes.
